Summer 2000
Felix Goetz diploma. On the bed of gras one can listen to mp3's being played by the computer.
The computer's audiosignal is being routed through a max/msp patch, split, runs through 4 effect ways and then put out to the different speakers that are mounted underneath the grassland.
For the effect processing in the patch, I was desperate to use some of the wonderful VST plugins of Pluggo. Strangely enough in max version 3.6.2 these plugins, that have been made with max/msp, couldn't be handled. So I went on a search for someone who had come across this and maybe found a solution. I was roaming about in Berlin and met this guy Taymur Streng in that record store On/Off in Friedrichshain. He invited me to a workshop, were people meet near Hamburg in Karze to make noise. Taymur showed me how to detach the Pluggo VST plugins from the VST layer, to use them as a regular max patch.
